Instead, look at customer concentration and contract duration. Ask yourself what percentage of those clean revenues are tied to well-funded foundational labs versus venture-backed startups that are burning through their seed rounds just to pay their monthly cloud bill. When the venture capital taps slow down for mid-tier AI companies—and they are already slowing down—those long-term commitments start looking like liabilities rather than assets.

The smart money isn't buying infrastructure middlemen. The smart money is buying the companies figuring out how to do more intelligence with fewer parameters, rendering brute-force cluster rental less critical by the month.

CoreWeave is running a masterclass in operational execution for the current market cycle. But execution within a flawed paradigm only delays the reckoning. When the music stops, you want to be the one holding software patents, not the one holding a warehouse full of depreciating silicon financed by five banks.
